 NOMINATIONS
DUE for two Elder and two Deacon openings for the coming year.
Prayerfully consider who will best serve in our church’s leadership, and
submit names to Pastor Dave or any Elder. Members will select their
choices next month, in June.
NexStep COACHING will be held Fri., May 30 to Sun., June 1. This
professional consultation will help us hone our vision and improve our
ministries, as we seek to fulfill God’s mission for us in our community.
During May, focus group meetings and a NexStep Online survey will be held.
Mark your calendar for these important dates.
New SMALL GROUP PROGRAMS are available. Full descriptions of the
new offerings are posted on the bulletin board. Not yet in a small group?
You can still borrow any of the materials to view on your own or with your

PRAYER REQUESTS: For Helen Hiemenga’s son, Stan, to lessen his pain
and for wisdom for his doctors as he faces surgery; for Jonquil Rumberger
who required 8 stitches when her face was scratched by a dog; for Carlo
Cannata who continues his treatments for a severe staph infection at an
Oakland skilled nursing facility; for Vincent, Diggs’ 6-year-old
great-nephew, diagnosed with 4 brain tumors. Pray also for those with
other health issues and their families, that the Lord may bring complete
healing, peace and strength for them and their families.
A BRIDAL SHOWER for Jeri Meninga will be held on June 7 at 10 am in
Fellowship Hall, and all women of the church are invited. Jeri is
registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond and Crate & Barrel. For more info contact

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:
Supporting our congregational songs, hymns
and choruses each week are several gifted women. Carrie Dole, Linda
Kreiss, and Arenda Gunter share this responsibility. If you play the
piano and/or organ but prefer to serve “behind the scenes,” this might be
the perfect place for you to serve the Lord’s people. Contact Carrie Dole
